Ophelia left her first husband. He shot her and killed himself, but she survived and went to love with her sister "Doll" (Josephine Carter).

The Wife Will Recover
Aberdeen, S. D. June 10 - A special from Gettysburg, S. D. says N. C. Bogard of Sully County overtook his wife at Lebanon, S. D. He shot her and then shot and killed himself. The tragedy occurred on the train which Mrs. Bogard had boarded to return to her home in Texas. She will recover.
