William Sedgwick [Robert Sedgwick / Joanna Blake] Elizabeth Stone [Samuel Stone / Elizabeth Allen] Elizabeth Stone was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Stone, one of the founders of Hartford, Connecticut, and his second wife Elizabeth Allen. She and William were married, but he didn't take to the domestic life. He was said to be "of a roving character" and spent his time travelling to the West Indies. She finally petitioned the court for a divorce, which was granted October 1, 1674. Hubert Merrilll Sedgwick reported that William supposedly died of the plague that same year, so it is possible that he died before the divorce was granted. I do not know Hubert's source. Child:
