Walker Mims [parents unknown] Census Records: Walker Mims, apparently with first wife: Suspected to be Walker Mims as child:According to her daughters, Hattie was a very busy woman who took in laundry to help support the family. In spite of the family's poverty, she kept her children very neat and clean. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Her daughters remember her making sheets and pillow cases out of yellow domestic. Fishing and crabbing in Pensacola's Bayous was another one of her pleasures. She loved all of her brothers and was especially close to her brother, John. Children:
