Port of Embarkation was Liverpool, England, and their point of origin was Durham. The 1851 England census puts his birth place as Sadberge, Durham, England. He was a shoemaker. The 1841 England census finds him living in Hurworth, Durham and working as a shoemakers apprentice.7a His wife's maiden name was Bowser. She was born in Ingleton, Durham, England. This is listed as her name on the death certificate of Thomas S.
