Alvin Charles Sedgwick, born July 21, 1888, New York, New York, was sent by the Children's Aid Society to Grayson County, Texas on March 10, 1902. He lived with three different families, the Jernigans of Savoy, Texas, the Kirklands of Bells, Texas and the Cooks of Grayson County, Texas.
